The GRC Journal welcomes original arguments, evidence-based features, case analyses, and conversations that deepen understanding of governance, risk, compliance, and security.

What makes a strong contribution

A clear point of view, real evidence, a non-obvious insight, and relevance beyond a single company or product.

What we don't publish

Product marketing, SEO content written to rank rather than to say something, generic trend round-ups, unsupported predictions, or republished corporate blog posts.

Formats

Feature, Case, Brief, Conversation. Research is a future format, once the Journal has the standing to run original studies.

Process

Pitch, editorial review, drafting and revision, fact and evidence check, contributor review for accuracy, then publication.

Pitch template

Copy this into an email. A pitch that answers all six lines directly is much faster to evaluate than a full draft with none of them:

Send the completed template to grcjosh.sec@gmail.com. You'll hear back within five business days either way. Not every pitch is accepted, and acceptance comes down to the strength of the argument, not the seniority of the person making it.
